Montgomery Gentry Concert!!!!

So I have been listening to country music! Crazy, I know. I feel like the black sheep in my family in regards to music. lol. But I love it. Well, lately I have been listening to Kat Country 106.1 I kept hearing advertisements for a Montgomery Gentry Concert. So I looked them up, and found that I really like their music. They are very patriotic. So that has been way rad. Well, I heard these advertisements before I met Scott, so at the time I didn't have a friend to go with, then I met him, and BAM! it all worked out. I soon had tickets in my hands and the day came for the concert. OMG. It was freaking amazing! It was at the Twin Falls fair grounds in the arena. Scott and I had only been together for like 2 or 3 weeks at the time, but it was such a blast to go with him. We both had an amazing time. Here are some pictures from our amazing time at the MG concert!

This is their trailer for their stage and equipment!

Their tour buses!

The stage from up in the stands. We were only up here for a bit.

Its filling up!

Their stage!

Let the concert  begin!

Alright, the one in the hat is Eddie Montgomery, and then the third one is Troy Gentry.. T-Roy is  playing on the guitar. Eddie just sings. The chemistry between these two guys is hilarious.

Montgomery Gentry

We were like 35 feet from the stage. We were right there. it was so rad!

Eddie was right there! So awesome!

It's dark now, and man people were getting drunk everywhere. There was a group right next to us that kept getting beer after beer after beer. lol it was funny to watch them.

After the concert ended there was an amazing firework show. While the fireworks were going off  they were playing awesome music by many different artists.

By the time Scott and I got to the car, they were still doing fireworks and  played KickStart my Heart by Motley Crue.  Scott and I had fun jamming out to that song on my car!

All in All, it was a fantastic night. I plan on going to more concerts like this one. I had such a blast.  Most of all, I had an amazing time with Scott. He's fun and energetic and was a blast to dance with. :)

Cousin Camp

We had cousin camp and had fun with pinata

Twin hiking!

So I have a new "friend". :-D two Saturdays ago, Scott and I took a trip to twin and did some hiking. We hiked around Shoshone falls and down in the canyon by the bridge.

Trading Spaces- Larsen style!

Savannah and I decided to paint our room. Check out the make over we did! The room is completely different and we love it!

Another Adventure! To Sun Valley to Stanley to Boise!

Dad and I went to Boise and took a different route. Check our our pictures!

My new toy.

So I got a wild hare and decided to purchase a guitar! I have yet to name it, but I'm taking lessons and am learning. It's a beauty. :)

Update on my Container Garden!

So I've had my little container garden for about a month now. Some of the plants started as seeds, other's were  starts. So here is a little update on them! I'm sooo excited to see it's progress! Everything has been making great progress...except my rosemary. There really is nothing growing in the pot....not a single thing. but that's ok- they were seeds and we've had wicked wind. I'm way proud of my little container garden. It's been way worthwhile and so much fun to watch grow as the days pass!
My red onions! The bigger ones in back are some that were already here when we moved in.

My Cilantro has really taken off! They were started from seeds! So cool to see them grow.

Can you see em?!

I promise there is some Sage in there!

This is Dill. There is some in there. :)

OK, my basil has really taken off. It's spread into like EVERY pot I have. Into my 2 strawberry pots, my 4 tomato pots, my mint, and my large pepper pot.

OK, this is my Cilantro again. I just had to give you a close up because it's my favorite plant right now. It's really taken off and looks soooo cool! How green is that! :)

Happy Mother's Day!

I just wanted to give a shout out to my Mom. She's called by many names in our home. Mum, Mom, Madre,  Mother, Mummy--but all mean the same thing. She is a leader. She is my best friend. She's my teacher, my counselor. She has taught me valuable lessons that I will remember the rest of my life. She's taught me faith in my Savior and Heavenly Father. She's taught me obedience. She's taught me patience. She's taught me unfeigned love. She's taught me perseverance, loyalty, determination, forgiveness, compassion. She's taught me service, kindness, and charity. She's helped me become who I am today. She's there to listen to me when I have a troubled mind. She's there to coach me through through life's challenges. She's there to celebrate my triumphs and accomplishments with me. She's there when I need a shoulder to cry on. She's taught me to follow my Savior and to keep His commandments. Through her solid faith and testimony, I've come to develop my own testimony and love for my Savior. She's taught me to walk in the ways the the Lord. She's a beautiful example of an elect lady. She's loved by many and has 6 children who have the deepest and most sincere love for her as she gives the highest and holiest service ever to be assumed by a woman. (David O. McKay) She is a Mother.
I love my mom. She's the best mother out there. Others may come close, but mine-She's the best. I love you Mom. Happy's Mother's Day!

Cinco De Mayo

The Larsen's are always looking for a reason to throw a party! Cinco De Mayo just seemed perfect. We are trying to celebrate and learn about other cultures so this seemed perfect. Mum, aka Heidi, required everyone to come with some knowledge to share about the Mexican culture. So we had food out the wazoo. The Larsens were eating left overs for days. :) We had tacos with 3 different kinds of meat. All sorts of salsa and chips and pineapple of course! It's never a party without pineapple. We were surrounded by family and friends. G&G were there along with Vicki and the Mottishaws! The kids enjoyed cousin time and the grownups got time to chit chat. So after dinner we went outside for the pinata! Oh Baby! The kiddies sure enjoyed that. And the best part for the grownups, no stitches or lost teeth! Bonus! After the pinata we went inside for cake and ice cream and sang happy birthday to Vicki! Note to G&G, we need you there next time because it took us 3 tries of singing "Jolly Good Fellow" before we got it right. Obviously it's been a while. Hahaha. Well, I hope ya'll enjoy the picts!
