Our Pumpkins

Alright, in the previous post, you saw the making of our pumpkins, well, here they are all finalized and created! We sure did have some creative pumpkins! So here are the picts, ENJOY!

THE PUMPKINS!

Summers pumpkin, and Sawyer's pumpkin

This is Dad's pumpkin, he free handed it.

(Scratch head) I think this was just a pumpkin we had laying around, but Savannah carved it. It's a cute vampire pumpkin

This is Sadie's final work, Dad says its a "Tim Burton" Pumpkin, hahaha.

Sky's pumpkin! Looks like a Dude

One side of Nanna's punkin, its ghosts, if you cant tell. :)

oh look! The other side of nanna's punkin, this...is a face....she's quite the pumpkin carver!

I decided we needed at least one LEGENDARY pumpkin, so i took on that project, since my carving went all the way around the pumpkin, here is a short vid, where I just rotate the punkin for you to see.

Girls goofing off. hahaha

Since i take all the photo's i figured i better jump in one. So here i am, and my pumpkin. :)

Again, me and my Legendary pumpkin.

Sumi and me with the camera.

Coco, and a Coco sized pumpkin.

Summer was being a goober and jumped in the pict. But Dad spent a good 45 min maybe cleaning the seeds from the guts of the pumpkin, we are going to experiment and see what tasty seeds we can create. So far our first batch hasn't been, we only did olive oil and seasoning salt, and well....I burnt the batch, because I was working on the last post I just put on this blog....But I know the next batch will be better! :)

Where our pumpkins were born. With a family of 8, we can make messes pretty quick. This was the disaster left in the "fallout" zone hahaha.

By gutting 8 pumpkins we ended up with about 12 cups of seeds. So we have plenty to experiment with! YAY!

Well after all our work, we lit the candles in the pumpkins and put them out on our sidewalk up to our front door. It is pretty awesome, I must admit! Here you can see part of the walkway. We had a totally wicked fun night, spending time as a family. Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa for taking us to the pumpkin patch a week or so ago! Without that trip, we woulda never had this great time together as a family!

Carving Pumpkins!!!!

Well, after watching three episodes of Ghost Adventures, we decided to get into the spooky spirit and finally carve our pumpkins! (The day before Halloween:) So we've had a great night spending time as a family carving all our pumpkins! Here are some pictures of our fun.

Sadie had to pick the largest pumpkin in the patch! When we got it, both her and I had to carry it because I couldn't do it on my own, and she certainly couldn't. She was gutting this pumpkin forever!
Its a good thing this kid is so stinking cute! Sawyer sure enjoyed playing around with his pumpkin, he got to gut it all by himself, (of course in the end I had to help him and later carve it, but we still had good fun:)

Sky is still gutting his pumpkin while Dad was already onto the carving of his! Dad was super quick, he's obviously done some pumpkins in his time. It was great to have Dad with us to carve pumpkins. We sure enjoyed Dad chilling with us, and finally letting us get around to carving the pumpkins. :)

This is Savannah, carving a pumpkin as big as she is. :P

Summi picked a little pumpkin, yet for some reason, it took her a good long time to do it. hahahaha. Goober.

Yay! We got a picture of Dad smiling! hahahaha. Dad is a master pumpkin carver, it was good to have him around to show the kids how to carve a good pumpkin!

After giving the "green weenie" to his first pumpkin, Skyler moved onto a second, larger, pumpkin and finally made a real work of art. :)

And the pumpkins are born.

Nanna, diligently carving her masterpiece.

Sadie's pumpkin was so large, she had to do it on the ground, but this large punkin got a good  Tupperware dish full of guts out of it. :)

Follow up on our pumpkin carving adventure in the next post!

The Many Shades of Sawyer

Sawyer has a very unique personality! These are some of the pictures I've collected of him.
This was taken yesterday hahaha. See those Superhero boots again? ya, he's wearing em.

Check out that mean face! BLUE STEEL

This was the background on my phone for quite some time. This is Sawyer with Killer. He loved this little cat.

Meet My Family

This is my family. We like to call ourselves the Legendary Larsens. Why?  hahaha well, why not? My family decided after our family realignment to have a personal revolution, recreate our selves. And since the day we left the court house for our name change, life has never been better. Life is actually-fantastic!

My family. :) oh ya, we are awesome.

My brothers and sisters.

Here you can see our personalities pretty well I think.

Mom promised us that if we behaved during pictures we could pull a funny face.

Me and My sisters. Savannah and I in Back, and Sadie and Summer in front.

Can we be done with pictures yet? It's been three hours and my face hurts...

My brothers, they are goobers but I love them. Skyler and Sawyer

Our amazing parents. Jacob and Heidi. WE LOVE YOU!
