WEST THUMB!

Well, we headed up to Yellowstone on Wednesday August 3. After a really long trip up there, we unhitched the trailer at Grant's Village Campground. Being later in the evening, we decided to go to West Thumb, which is just a few miles away. This is a great place, this was my second time ever going to West Thumb, and boy it sure has changed. The lake is sooo high.

The LENGENDARY Saga of Yellowstone Posts!

Well, I'm updating this blog of mine! WE just got back from our awesome vacation in YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK! We went their for my 18TH birthday! I can't believe that I'm 18! The trip was awesome. It was just our small (ok...quite large) family. It was awesome to just relax. We did have some epic moments. So here are all the pictures and stories. ENJOY! :)

Updates...

Ok, I know it's been a while...a long while since I last updated my blog. We are getting family pictures taken tonight so you can expect to see more pictures in a few days. I promise, I will get around to updating my blog :P

But I'm Iron Man....

So yesterday Sawyer and I ran around the house playing. He was Iron Man and I was Spiderman. It was epic. Well, finally he hit me out of anger, so we then had an interesting conversation...
Sam: Sawyer, we don't hit people.
Sawyer: But I'm Iron Man!
Sam: We still don't hit people
Sawyer: I slice you?
Sam: We don't hurt people
Sawyer: Does this hurt? (he strokes my stomach with both hands gently)
O_o

A Very Legendary Moment- 'nuff said.

So Sawyer has been puking and pooping since Thursday (poor kid). So for sacrament meeting my whole family had to speak. I was conveniently at the Singles Ward (which rocks. Anyway...). So the story goes is that Skyler is up giving his talk. Dad, Savannah, Summer, Sadie were sitting on the stands and so was mom but she was holding Sawyer. Mom had brought the 'puke bowl" just in case Sawyer puked in church. well Sky is giving his talk and Sawyer keeps moaning that he needs to puke. (he's three btw) and well *cough cough*--(chunks are blown). That's right. Sawyer puked in front of the whole congregation. hahaha. Dad said that he watched everyone's eyes grow wide as they watched as he puked into the puke bowl. hahaha. Needless to say no one will probably ever remember what my family spoke about but they'll never forget the kid that puked on the stands during sacrament meeting.

Graduation!

Alright- it's about time I post about graduation! It's been over week. I graduated on Tuesday May 24th, 2011. It was awesome. One week later I'm still trying to grasp the concept that I'm finished with twelve years of school! (Only to start College July first lol) I just want to say thanks to all those who have helped me get this far! And thanks to my awesome family and especially my parents who have made sure my "head is on straight" :)
oh- the green cord is for Band. I did Band all four years. 

Shauna and Mike! They are awesome and came to support me at graduation! I love em!

Family Dance Party!

Our family will suddenly break out in dance or song, or something random and silly. But these moments, as random and crazy as they are- are priceless moments where we bond together as brothers and sisters and as a family. Tonight, Dad put on some 80's music and before we knew it- we had ourselves a dance party! Dad has a strobe light app on his iphone and sky held the phone and Dad, Sawyer, Summer and Sadie and I were all dancing in the strobe light. Priceless moments. 

Dad was doing some 80's dance (hahaha) Sadie was doing the sprinkler and Summer was doing the "funky chicken" (with one hand behind the head and the other grabbing your leg and almost hitting your head to your knee)  and I was dancing like a crazy person with Sawyer close by. In the strobe light we watched our reflections and each other in slow motion as we all moved normal speed. Wow.  Great night! hahaha
